Life with School Kids πŸŽ’βœ¨

Life with school kids is a little bit of everything β€” busy, noisy, messy, exhausting, hilarious, and incredibly precious. ❀️

Mornings start with a countdown. ⏰
β€œGet dressed!”
β€œBrush your teeth!” πŸͺ₯
β€œWhere are your shoes?” πŸ‘Ÿ
β€œDid you pack your school bag?” πŸŽ’

And somehow, despite saying the same things every single morning, we still end up rushing out the door with one child looking for a missing sock and another suddenly remembering they need a special craft project today. πŸ˜‚

Then comes homework. πŸ“šβœοΈ

There are spelling words to practise, maths problems to solve, books to read, school forms to sign, and approximately 47 pencils that mysteriously disappear every week. πŸ˜…

Some afternoons are calm and productive. Others involve tired children, tired parents, and the question:

β€œDo we really have to do homework?”
Yes.
β€œEven today?”
Also yes. πŸ˜‚

But somewhere between the school runs, packed lunches, forgotten water bottles, playdates, sports practices, and bedtime negotiations, there are the moments that make it all worthwhile. πŸ₯°

The random stories they tell at dinner. 🍝
The drawings they proudly bring home. 🎨
The hugs after a difficult day. πŸ€—
The giggles that come from absolutely nowhere. πŸ˜‚
The little conversations at bedtime when suddenly they decide it’s the perfect time to tell you everything. πŸŒ™πŸ’•

Life with school kids isn’t always easy. Some days feel like we’re simply trying to keep everyone fed, clean, organised, and on time. 😴

But these years are also full of firsts, discoveries, friendships, growing independence, and memories we’ll wish we could relive someday. ✨

So here’s to the early mornings, messy backpacks, lunchbox crumbs, homework battles, lost socks, school projects, proud smiles, and sleepy cuddles. πŸŽ’β€οΈ

It’s chaotic.

It’s loud.

It’s exhausting.

And somehow, it’s also one of the sweetest seasons of life. πŸŒˆπŸ’›
