Our fourth day in London was packed with fun, nature, and Olympic history! Here’s how it went:

Morning: Exploring the Zoo!

We started the day at the ZSL London Zoo , where we got up close with incredible animals! The penguins were playful, the lions were majestic, and the gorillas stole the show. A must-visit for any animal lover!

Lunch: Poppies for Some Classic Fish & Chips

For lunch, we headed to Poppies , a legendary spot for fish & chips. Crispy batter, flaky fish, and those perfect chips—absolutely delicious!

Evening: Darling’s Eatery for a Cozy Dinner

Dinner at Darling’s Eatery was a treat! From hearty mains to indulgent desserts, the atmosphere was warm, and the food was divine. Highly recommend!

Exploring Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

After lunch, we took a scenic walk through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park . The area is stunning, filled with modern architecture and green spaces.

London Stadium & the Mighty Olympic Bell

Of course, we couldn’t miss the London Stadium , home of the 2012 Olympics and West Ham United. The Olympic Bell , one of the largest in the world, was an awe-inspiring sight!

Day 3 in London was packed with iconic sights, delicious food, and a little bit of history! Let’s dive in.

Madame Tussauds – Celeb Time!

Started the day at Madame Tussauds, where we got up close (sort of) with A-list celebrities, historical figures, and superheroes! From the Royal Family to Marvel characters, every wax figure was incredibly lifelike. The highlight? Taking selfies with Harry Styles and The Rock!

Tower of London – History & Beheadings!

Next stop: the Tower of London, where history came alive. We saw the Crown Jewels , walked through medieval corridors, and learned about the grizzly history of executions. The Yeoman Warders (aka Beefeaters) gave a fantastic tour—full of fun facts and dark tales!

Tower Hill Market – Hidden Gem

Just outside the Tower, we stumbled upon Tower Hill Market—a small but fantastic spot for street food and souvenirs. Picked up some unique London-themed gifts and grabbed a quick snack (hello, fresh pastries! ).

London Bridge – Iconic Views

We walked along the Thames River and made a quick stop at London Bridge—though, fun fact, Tower Bridge is the famous one people often mistake for it! The views of the city skyline were breathtaking.

Ben & Jerry’s – Sweet Treat

Needed a little energy boost, so we found a Ben & Jerry’s shop and indulged in some classic Cookie Dough ice cream. Because sightseeing is better with a scoop (or two)!

Dinner at The Sawyer’s Arms

Wrapped up the day with a hearty meal at The Sawyer’s Arms, a cozy pub with delicious British classics. Enjoyed some Fish & Chips and a pint of local ale. The atmosphere was warm, and the service was fantastic—perfect way to end the night!

Day 2 in London was packed with excitement, iconic landmarks, and plenty of walking! From exploring the magical underwater world of the Sea Life London Aquarium to stepping into the world of Harry Potter at Platform 9¾ , here’s a recap of an unforgettable day in the city.

Morning: Dive into Sea Life London Aquarium

We kicked off the day with a visit to the Sea Life London Aquarium, a perfect way to escape the morning crowds and get lost in an underwater paradise. Highlights included:

Walking through the shark tunnel (so surreal!)

Watching the adorable Gentoo penguins waddle and swim

Spotting colorful fish, seahorses, and even rescued turtles

It’s an amazing experience for ocean lovers, and the conservation efforts make it even more special!

Kings Cross & Platform 9¾: A Must for Harry Potter Fans!

Next stop: Kings Cross Station! We couldn’t resist checking out Platform 9¾, where fans of Harry Potter can snap a photo with the famous luggage trolley disappearing into the wall. The Harry Potter shop nearby is also a dream, packed with wands, scarves, and all things magical!

Lunch at Leon: Quick & Delicious

All that exploring worked up an appetite, so we grabbed lunch at Leon —a great spot for healthy, tasty fast food. The menu was full of fresh options, and the chicken aioli wrap & sweet potato fries were a hit!

Exploring London on Foot: So Many Sights!

After lunch, we took a long walk through the city, soaking in the London vibes. Highlights along the way:

Passing by Covent Garden, always buzzing with street performers

Admiring the stunning architecture around Charing Cross

Evening at Trafalgar Square

We ended the day at Trafalgar Square, one of London’s most famous landmarks. The Nelson’s Column, the majestic lion statues, and the overall lively atmosphere made it a perfect final stop. We even spotted some street musicians adding to the charm!

Final Thoughts

Day 2 in London was a mix of magic, history, and adventure! Whether exploring beneath the sea, stepping into the world of Harry Potter, or simply wandering through the streets, the city never stops impressing.

Hello from London! My first day here has been absolutely amazing, filled with sightseeing, long walks, and soaking up the history and beauty of this city!

I started the day with a peaceful walk through Hyde Park —such a refreshing way to begin the trip! The park is so beautiful, with swans gliding across the water and people enjoying the crisp London air.

Next stop: the iconic London Eye ! The view from the top was breathtaking—seeing the entire city skyline from up there was a dream!

Of course, no London trip is complete without visiting Big Ben and Westminster Abbey . Seeing these historic landmarks up close was surreal, and I couldn’t stop taking photos!

I ended the day at Buckingham Palace , hoping to catch a glimpse of the famous guards. No royal sightings today, but the palace itself is stunning!

Hello from London! I’m currently staying at the Beverly House Hotel, and it’s been such a cozy and convenient spot for exploring the city! If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in the heart of London, this place is a great choice.

The location is perfect—just a short walk from Paddington Station , making it super easy to get around. There are also plenty of cafes , restaurants , and shops nearby, which makes every day an adventure!

So far, my London itinerary has been packed with sightseeing! I’ve strolled through Hyde Park , admired Big Ben , and even treated myself to some classic fish & chips . Can’t wait to explore more!
