The vacations have definitely been a bright spot. \ud83c\udf34\u2600\ufe0f Getting away, making memories, exploring new places, and having a chance to breathe has been exactly what I needed. There\u2019s something about stepping away from your normal routine that makes you realize just how much you\u2019ve been carrying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And then\u2026 there\u2019s the packing and moving. \ud83d\udce6\ud83e\udee0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I forgot how overwhelming moving can be. Trying to organize your entire life into boxes while simultaneously figuring out where everything is going is a special kind of chaos. \ud83d\ude02 There\u2019s the physical exhaustion, the endless decisions, the mess, and the feeling that your whole life is temporarily upside down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On top of all of that, I\u2019ve been dealing with a lot of stress lately. Some days I feel like I\u2019m handling everything pretty well, and other days\u2026 honestly, I\u2019m just trying to make it through the day. \ud83e\udd0d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Depression has been part of that too. \ud83c\udf27\ufe0f It\u2019s not always obvious from the outside, and sometimes I can be laughing, traveling, getting things done, and still be struggling internally. I\u2019m learning that both things can be true at the same time \u2014 life can have beautiful moments while you\u2019re still having a hard time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m trying to give myself more grace lately. \u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83e\ude79 I don\u2019t have to have everything figured out. I don\u2019t have to pretend I\u2019m okay every single day. And I definitely don\u2019t have to make everything look perfect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Right now, I\u2019m just taking things one day \u2014 and sometimes one box \ud83d\udce6 \u2014 at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here\u2019s to new beginnings, fresh starts, hopefully a little less chaos, and remembering to appreciate the good moments along the way. \ud83e\udd42\u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n
